2026 will be OpenComps’ 20th year of operation!
20 years of editing the world’s best collection of hotel market data – sales, developments, for sale, debt financings, performance information on public REIT holdings, individual P&Ls.
“World’s best.” I know, a phrase used by many, often in jest… like that “world’s best pizza” in Little Italy in NYC or Santa Monica, CA.
But I challenge you, dear reader, please get in touch, if you know of a better source than OpenComps for aggregating hotel market information… in the world! One place, with one subscription, that gives you human-driven editorial on hotel transactions in U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, the U.K., Europe, Australia and some Asia sprinkled in. With the most intuitive, yet powerful online interface.
As a small, individually-crafted enterprise, I am incredibly proud that we have the best data of anyone. A lot of hard work goes in collecting it and I hope you enjoy it.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone that supported us throughout the past year… and the past 20 years. OpenComps simply cannot exist without you and we are very grateful! If you enjoy using OpenComps, however, please spread word to others, as this is the only way that we actually grow. While I strongly believe we are “world’s best”… the world seemingly still doesn’t know about us. We remain tiny. We need you to help us.
We agonize each year on our pricing for the following year. We take it very seriously. It pains us that we have to increase it every year, but that is the only way that we stay afloat and survive. I hope you understand.
Based on our current operations, we would like to announce that our PRO Subscriptions prices as of January 1, 2026, will be as follows:
- OpenComps PRO (default; if you are a multi-employee organization that owns, manages, transacts, consults on one or many hotels, you need to be on this one) – $625 per month or $6,250 per year.
- unlimited users (under defined corporate email domain), no per user pricing
- easy, self-managed onboarding and offboarding
- private notes – attach small notes to public transactions viewable only by you or your workgroup
- private entries – create full transaction entries viewable only by you or your workgroup (great for keeping track of on-the-market pipeline or recording private P&Ls of competitive properties)
- Solo PRO – $265 per month or $2,650 per year
- Single user, non-shareable
- Only available, upon review, for a single-person operation – someone on a consulting track or in between gigs. Not available to multi-employee (2+) organizations that simply want “single license” or “single employee” access.
Each OpenComps user account is personal and non-shareable. Using someone else’s login is a violation of our Terms of Use. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
If you are a PRO subscriber, you will be automatically rolled over to the new plan and rate applicable to your PRO subscription at your first scheduled billing period in 2026 (monthly subscribers, at your first renewal in January 2026; annual subscribers, at your schedule renewal in 2026).
If you are not a PRO subscriber yet, hurry up and start a new annual PRO subscription by the end of 2025 to take advantage of the 2025 prices for a full year.
